I like Ferarro as much as any other Sharks fan, but I don't think he is worth a 1st+. If the 1st is a sticking point in a Ferarro trade, I don't see it happening considering how much Tanev got. And yes, I do understand that Ferarro is significantly younger with a multi-year deal.

I think the 1st is a point though. If you want him pay, otherwise we keep him!

When you have players you like and don’t really want to move, then you demand a lot and see if someone bites, otherwise no harm no foul.

I think it's unlikely that anyone pays a 1st, and I think the Sharks are shooting themselves in the foot if they are waiting for better offers that won't come.

Why? He’s 25 and hitting his prime. Sharks are better off keeping him and finding a quality replacement would have to come from the 1st round
