Description
Personally, I like Vancouver's prospects a little more. But this seems like the most likely destination and Pitt has get as much as possible. Not sure this does it, but interested to hear the negative feedback this gets. Cormier and Brisson could crack the roster next year, with Edstrom getting a sniff later next season but probably in a season or two realistically.

It's a lot. But comparing it to the Lindholm trade return and there's no 1st round pick, makes this trade absolutely not insane. but yah, it's a lot.

Also throw in Howden because he isn’t needed and that nearly 2 million more off their books to give them incentive to think they can resign Jake.

Not against that idea.

If they were offering a Dman Korczak is more of a long term need. However we don’t need any D back in the trade.

If it comes with a contract sure, absolutely, but not having a first doesn’t matter to me. Take the first and second. Whoever those players are, are even further from helping the team than this group of players are

There’s no thinking if we are moving Brisson and Edstrom. Better have a contract strapped to his back on that flight to vegas lol

Don't see either Cormier or Brisson cracking the roster next year.
I think you had it right the first time, VAN has better prospects. So does DAL.

Good thing NHL gms will know what they are getting in Guentzel.

It seems you don’t understand much the caliber of player he is. Instantly he’d be your most consistent player. He’ll play not one game poorly. You’d be getting a 40 goal scorer. He’s PP1 material. He’s been there and done the thing. He’s a coaches pet, and will do anything he’s told. Will be one of the hardest working players off the puck and possibly have one of the highest hockey IQs on the team. Guentzel is an elite machine and frankly if Vegas doesn’t believe that we can just trade him to the GM who already knows that
