Why? Schenn hasn’t been good and his contract sucks

They don’t need a $6.5m aging 3C lol

He's a heck of a lot better than Goodrow. Put up 65 pts last year and has 31 this year.

Goodrow is more useful and is workable going forward, Schenn @4x 6.5m is a heavy anchor. Even with Chytil obviously done, easy pass

Can’t see him wanting to go to NYC. He can just wait a few years until we’re a contending again. Snuggerud and Dvorsky will be established NHLers by then. It sucks right now but the prospect pool we have is the beginning of a wagon if it all pans out.
