Do you know what capitalism is? We have something that Pens fans desperately want back, something we don't want to and don't have to move. Value is whatever we set it at, if the Pens want Matheson, they will have to pay whatever we say we want and I guarantee, that won't be "fair value" or what they think he is "worth".

No one is actually proposing trading to get Matheson back, it doesn't make any sense on this roster. This ACGM is pretending a bunch of trades (including Matheson) didn't happen

Well, sucks cause it did and it doesn't change the fact that the Pens would still have to pay the price Montreal sets to get him back, Worth and value have nothing to do with it

Except the fact matheson doesn’t have that value. Bias fan smh. And pens do not even want the dude, so idk why you’re saying they desperately want him. He’s worth MAYBE a 1st, but definitely not a 1st AND a prospect like yager

Yeah, ok, clearly Pens fans want him since they are making ACGM's that undo the trade.

Chiarot got a 1st + 3rd, Lehkonen got Barron (former 1st) + 2nd, Monahan got a 1st + conditional 3rd. Matheson has more value than all of them, it will be a 1st + top prospect if he is traded

1 person making the trade and all of a sudden the entire fan base wants him back lmao. Okay, by that logic habs fans want Crosby since I saw 1 person make a trade for him.

I'd rather have Karlsson than Matheson but if I could go back and get Marino back which was the impetous for wanting to acquire Petry, yes I would take it back 3 years ago. Matheson pairing up with Letang or Karlsson makes no sense in terms of roster construction
