I really hope that if ur trading for Edmundson u don't plan on him playing top pair on his offside. He's not even a good makes literally 0 sense why any team wants him

For Edmonton yes. The team that you're on when you earn a bonus is on the hook for any cap hit related to your bonus. If the Oilers trade him the new team is just getting a league minimum player.
