Buchnevich has another season left on his contract, so you won't be spending Bertuzzi or Domi money on him in 2024-2025.
How do you break this trade down? Considering that Buchnevich is having a better year than John Tavares, at half the cap hit even at his regular number? And considering that by your own admission, Brodie is in there for Toronto's benefit, not St. Louis'?
The two 1st is for The bush part (not at this point of course since trade deadline is long gone, but for discussions sake) which was the insiders (whoever they are) reported value wanted by Armstrong
What I am hearing you say is there no value in freeeing up cap money? (Brodie expiring, and 6 years of Colts deal)
Kampf is servicable (and could be moved to a contender to free up more space if they wanted) faceoff specialist who kills penalties. I concure he seems a bit overpaid at this moment since his offence isnt there.
And you comment about the Bert and Domi money doesnt make sense.
their contracts are up this summer, let them walk and the money is a wash to keep Buch, what are you seeing that I am not concerning this particular aspect?
Liljegren, Minten and the two 1st is the primary value for the Blues, then you consider the 10M youll be saving in cap for a retooling team thats not bad.
I know everyone wants to hate on the Leafs
must suck being a fan of teams who dont have a 20 year waiting list to purchase season tickets and doesnt have unlimited (kinda) money and have all that history (original 6)
and all fans from every team is fanatics (thats what the name means) have you read posts from rangers fans or Bruins fans..this is all for jokes.
anyone who gets offended and riled up about random guys making hypothetical trades on this platform or any other needs to have a good look at his life.
chat, have fun, chirp, but if it goes further I think they have to rethink what they are missing in life.
