You're right. He's way better off the puck and has an extra year. This offer is clearly insufficient, and the idea that one could simply move the pick to 25 with no package adjustment ain't how it works. There is not going to be a way around giving up something that hurts in a Buch trade. It's not happening. Same goes for piling up a bunch of okay wingers. That's not gonna fly.
