He probably gets 2-2.5M, it’s not that he’s untouchable because he’s the best player in the league. It’s because he was literally drafted to fit a position and timeline and it’s actually running its course. 31.5 fan bases don’t realize that this drury thing isn’t a win today thing. They are still building for a future as much as they have a chance today. The .5 is NYR, somehow 1/2 the fans here don’t get it either. Kakko doesn’t need to be a star today, he needs to be a star in 3 years. There’s time and lots of prospects and picks still to come.
