Description

I don't know if Holland will be GM come next year but this is what I would somewhat expect out of our squad.

Prioritize signing Foegs, Holloway and Desh to deals at decent cost, utilize what will be a very cap friendly Broberg next year and unfortunately part ways with Ceci (or Kulak) due to cap reasons.

Try to get Jake here on a long term deal at lower amounts, pay the price of term for some cost savings right now (hopefully Louie can pull some strings with Jake).

Get a backup for Skinner, Pickard's been great but it may be a one season spur (we can test out other goalies but I am using a vet place holder); we need a stop gap for Rodrigue next season, give him one more year in the AHL then he comes up for 2025-26.

Left ~1.2M as amounts that may not be expected, ex. a player signing for 250K more or something.

Don't we get to save 1,000,000 on Brown's bonus? We still have that in cap space

I love Foegele but paying him over 3Milto play on your third line absolutely cannot happen. money would be spent better elsewhere.

Like where? I have Foeg's clocked in at 3Mx3 but went over a bit for this.
For what he offers 3M is very reasonable, I don't think we're finding much better for that cap hit.

Not sure, I have it as Perry's $325K owed and Brown's $3.225M owed, not sure if I need to toss Holloway onto that too (wasn't sure on his PB Clause).

Edit: also misread Perry's, thought he got 50K extra if we win round 2 and he plays 50% of rounds 1 and 2, $325K includes everything.
