  1. Iorio, Vincent
  2. 2024 1st round pick (WSH)
  3. 2024 3rd round pick (BOS)
Additional Details:
Pick is 15th overall.

Sonny Milano could be added to the deal but only if Washington views him as a throw-in, if they want to keep him then he doesn't get traded.

  2. Kastelic, Mark
Additional Details:
Trade done at the draft.
2.
OTT
  1. Gourde, Yanni
Additional Details:
I can't imagine they'd demand a huge return for Gourde, he's in the middle of a terrible season.
SEA
  1. Donovan, Jorian
  2. 2024 4th round pick (TBL)
  3. 2025 3rd round pick (FLA)

Gourde is having a down season, but it's important to keep in mind that Seattle is still gunning for the playoffs both this season and next. In that context, Gourde is worth more to them than a handful of futures that are dart throws at best.

Agreed, but he also takes up a big chunk of cap so they might want to trade him and use the space on someone else that utilizes the cap space better.

And the 14th overall pick. I agree I probably wouldn't do that but its not terrible.

i dont care if its 4th, find another 25 YO 60+point RW making less than 5M then thanks the hockey gods, because OTT only has ONE top 6 RW under 37....

You wouldn't trade Batherson for a 4th overall pick and Gourde?

I suppose it's a possibility, but Seattle is going to have over $10M in cap space next year even after factoring in new deals for Beniers and Tolvanen. That's plenty of room to make a splash signing should they so choose. Additionally, their NHL center depth actually isn't the greatest right now, so trading Gourde would open up a new hole that they'd have to spend money filling. With Gourde still contributing in ways other than point production, I think the Kraken will be inclined to keep him around for next season. If they really needed to open up cap space, there are several more palatable alternatives.

only if OTT does a complete rebuild. Again. no reason to trade a sure thing for a hope and maybe 4th oa when you need bath now more than the 4th oa

The 4th overall pick would have a significant chance of being a lot better than Batherson.

not worth the gamble, remember OTT only has ONE top 6 RW under 37 YO, trade him and you got a massive hole and then 2 massive hole when Giroux retires or regresses
