I doubt Spronger comes back to WSH
McMike likely makes atleast 4 on a 4 yr deal and Malentstyn prolly takes around 1 so it evens out
I'm not sure why we'd both signing ABB, I'd rather see Frank actually get a shot in the NHL or Dube

While I agree with you that McM will probably receive 4x4...I am probably in the minority here, but I think that is a lot for his production. He has been so inconsistent and really invisible for long stretches (like now). I almost think maybe a bridge deal would be best, but with the amount he has played (and seeing what Protas signed), I doubt he takes anything less than 4m.

TBH i'd trade him along with more for a guy like zegras. IMO he's a 3c/fringe 2c in the future and i'd rather sell high on him

Oh definitely agree. Any (young) upgrade we can make at center, I'd be fine packaging up McM (and more).
