Description

My predictions;

I think they'll want to bring back both Joshua and Blueger if the price is right. Their 5v5 and PK presence has been huge this season.

They'll give Pods some more run on the big club, maybe promote Garland to 2RW and let Pods get chemistry on the 3rd line.

I think Hoglander will continue his development into a true top 6 winger if they let him keep building chemistry with Petey. This will take some pressure off trying to sign a guy like Toffoli or making room to bring back Lindholm.

They won't find a good trade fit for Mikheyev, so they'll hope he can bounce back a bit.

Hronek will sign long term, Zadorov will be back with a slight raise because of his physical play, and the main outside target will be Tanev if Dallas doesn't manage to re-sign him.

Overall it's about the same forward group but an upgraded blue line. There's also some room for prospects to push their way onto the roster if they really earn a spot.

then it wont be with vancouver. reports right indicate the canucks dont want to go too high with hronek. i think they will trad his rights if thats what he is asking for

Lafferty definitely won't get that from the Canucks. He started the season really well but recently he's been a healthy scratch at times. I like him as a 4th liner, but not much more.

And I think $8m will be the real tipping point for the Canucks to make a decision with Hronek. I could see Allvin being negotiated to that 8 mark, but if Hronek's side demands more I think they trade him for a package before (or at) the draft.
