Description
- I dont think Lindholm will get the 9 million dollar offer he supposedly was looking for as of right now but Id pay him 7.5. I know he isn’t necessarily a true “1C” but he plays a very defensively responsible game and slots in here a a poor mans version of Bergeron between Marchand and Debrusk. A very defensively responsible line that can score.
- I think if Debrusk wasn’t going to be back we wouldve moved him (or I hope) he hasn’t been consistent enough to get paid like a true top 6 or top line winger but hes very impactful when on his game. I’d pay him this.
- Ullmark has the NMC so balls in his court but NJ makes a lot of sense and I believe theyrere currently picking 9th overall which is a ton for a goalie. We might add a little bit but NJ needs a goalie and we need draft capital.
-Kylington could very well be re-signed in Calgary but if not id love to target him on a 1 year deal. I know he took a mental health break during the year im not sure what his contract value would be but theres some extra money to use so could pay him more if he wants.
- I think Poitras, Lysell, and Merkulov could kind of be a revolving door of sorts. Don’t have to overplay them get them acclimated and if one of them forces your hand of keeping them in the lineup thats a plus. (Lysell isnt a center so Zacha would move to C). Montgomory also hates keeping lines for more than 3 shifts so these would just be to start the game.

I posted this 30 seconds ago and already want to change Kylingtons contract to at least 2 years and 2 million $

If 9OA is the goal here, the ask from NJ would more likely be Swayman, which BOS should say no to. The 9th pick isn’t moving for a guy that will be 31 when the season starts with just one year left though

I would hope boston could do better than kylington for a top four LD spot.

We have no clue where that pick is going to be.

Pick is almost certainly gonna be in the 7-13 17 games left and they look toast Jack is playing hurt Luke is gassed Hamilton isn't coming back and now Siegenthaler is probably done for the season too.

I think if the Bruins keep Lysell or Merkulov down another year, they're doing themselves a disservice. That being said, I have no idea how they fit them in.

Do you package Geekie with Ullmark to get a better return? Let JD walk for nothing? Going to be interesting for sure.

With the pick that high it’s probably off the table for any goalie other than Swayman or Saros. And BOS shouldn’t be entertaining Swayman offers. Just have to be realistic of what 30+ year old goalies fetch in the offseason

By the time this trade is allowed, we will know exactly where this pick will be - and it will be too valuable for Ullmark.
