Usually Mikheyev doesn't play to his contract. But you can almost guarantee he will be on LTIR at some time whihc gives you cap relief. But looking at the Canucks, this year and next year, looks like there aren't many bad contracts, and all teams have them.

Would you be interested in an LTIR contract?

I agree they should just keep him (unless there's a real opportunity to upgrade via trade where he gets thrown in the deal). Even through his offensive drought he's still been a pretty good possession player, and has looked better in the o-zone the last little while. Hopefully he can continue building some chemistry with Miller and Boeser.

BTW, I should also say I love this roster you've built. Big fan of bringing back all of Blueger, Joshua and Zadorov if the price is right. Would love Toffoli back. And IMO Chatfield would be a sneaky good pickup if they miss out on a guy like Tanev. Very curious to see what kind of contract he'll get.
palhal liked this.

Yep, Mik, just doesn't seem much touch around the net. Does a lot of other things well.
