That second line is a bunch of pass-first players so that would probably not work. Plus, Bednar has always been very reluctant to split Mac and Mikko up. Nuke is a shooter and is the perfect kind of player to put with Mitts.

I was thinking Mikko might be prone to shoot more on a line like that. But I agree, it'd be silly for Bednar to split them up at this point. And Val is a machine but I like him on 2nd line to balance the PP and PK minutes he puts in.

Mitts works with a lot of players but Mikko probably isn't my first pick. Drouin & Nuke is great, Lehky & Nuke with Mitts might be just as strong defensively as it is offensively. Which - reminder - was also the case for playoffs with Landy, Kadri, and Nuke who spent some time together.
