Gonna be interesting how Kahkonen does in Jersey. His stats may be bad due to playing for the Sharks. He was outstanding in the Leaf game in San Jose. Believe there were over 50 shots on him and lost in overtime. He might find a UFA home Jersey, and nix any Ullmark and Markstrom talk.

He posted a .920 in his first game. If he finishes the season strong he'll definitely make more than I gave him.

I think more needs to be done to the defense. I’m not sure how much of an upgrade Cole is over Bahl (if at all).

Cole is a beast defensively. Adds a vet DFD to help hold down the left side for only one year as a stop gap for Hughes to find his defensive game.

At 5 mill I think we’ll get a LOT more term on mercer

Also you as a Nashville fan know all about him but I’d recommend putting Trenin in for all your NJD ACGMs. I feel he’d be a great target to provide defense, physicality, and penalty killing.

And maybe Warren Foegele too. His speed is a need in jersey imo
