the difference between 1st or 2nd OA and 5th or 6th OA is not brady, and those other picks are meaningless for OTT.

Both teams say no, Chicago's picks are very valuable, and they aren't in a position to be anywhere near winning yet. As for Ottawa, Tkachuk is the face of the franchise, and is the captain and fan favourite. He's also insanely valuable and wants to stick it out in Ottawa, and might I add Ottawa is still in a position to win with a retool, and trading their franchise piece and fan favourite for futures.

agreed that neither team does this. those other picks are obviously not *nothing*, but kinda superfluous in a deal of this magnitude. and Celebrini is not *so* good that he'd be worth moving Brady AND a top 7/8 pick for, and this doesn't fit Chicago's timeline anyway

Not trying to slight Brady but Davidson is committed to the long term rebuild & would not cut corners by giving up that much draft capital at this point. A year or 2 & a move of this type could potentially be in the realm of possibilities.

This might legitimately be the worst trade proposal i've seen on this site.

ottawa and chicago's picks in 24 are very similar in value, especially before the lottery

so essentially it's tkachuk for the leafs 1st rd pick next year, plus a future 2nd and 3rd

even if you didn't include Ottawa's 1st in 24, this is a bad deal for ottawa......the fact that the sens give up that pick in this proposal makes it INSANE!
