Ottawa would likely have to throw in one of their first round picks to make the Saros deal work

Flyers aren't taking Korpisalo's contract and aren't trading Frost without a young center coming back.

No thanks on Norris' contract.

2 seasons of underwhelming production
1 season of good production with an elevated shooting %
Several shoulder injuries and games i watched him this season he just doesnt stand out on a positive way.
Maybe if he comes back next season and looks great in camp and preseason, id reconsider but that contract is just a big detractor right now.

Swapping out schenn for brannstrom is a big positive and i like Ostapchuk.

I just dont like the norris contract with all his health uncertainties and his performance this season

I don't think the Sens are set on getting a center. If they don't trade 2 centers in the other deal in the armchairGM, they have 6 that can reasonably slot in NHL (Stutzle, Norris, Pinto, Grieg, Ostapchuck, Kastelic)

I actually thought the Korpisalo thing made a little bit of sense, but I'd forgotten that Johansen had salary retained and was coming at the full $8M.

Agree with you - this isn't really a good base for a trade. If Frost is out, who do you think Flyers would propose to send back in a Chychrun trade? Obviously Sens would be interested in Bonk with him being a local, he was a late 1st...

I'm not sure if they want to give up Bonk now that he had a bit of a breakthrough in the OHL, but Andrae could definetely be available. Wouldn't be suprised if he gets a more permanent spot on the Flyers roster next year.

Also I don't really know what Sens would want back in a Chychrun trade to begin with.
