I don't see anything outrageous or fantastical about that trade idea. Boston might feel pressure to relieve some cap strain, and with Lindholm and Lohrei the only NHL-qualified left-handed defensemen the Bruins currently have under contract for next season, they might want one of your surplus LhDs in an Ullmark trade. I don't know how interested they'd be in Primeau, though. But replace him with a prospect like Owen Beck and Boston might give the offer a long serious look.

I think the Bruins would trade Ullmark for a 1st, but at least before free agency starts, I see the Primeau and Harris contracts as net negatives for the Bruins. I believe that they would rather have the cap space and roster spots for UFA than those two contracts. After the free agency frenzy who knows, but I think Primeau doesn't fill a Bruins need (they just signed an NCAA goalie today) and Harris does not really fit the mold of what they have been looking for in D men.

Also, we don't know what Ullmark's 16/15 team no trade list is or will be next offseason, but you might need to be prepared to offer an extension for him before he even plays a game for him to consider waiving his NTC. If you are not comfortable with that, there is a decent chance that the deal dies.
