I don't think Gorton & Hughes are open to offer sheets. They seem more likely to make friends than enemies.

I can see Lundell becoming a Hab, especially if he ends the year down and does not have a great playoffs. But it will happen by trade.

it's about what he's worth. He's the least notable of all our young left shot defencemen and it'd be fine to cash out on him if there isn't a spot for him here. Honestly, what role do you see for him here?

By the way, the trade isn’t the worst move in this scenario. For me, I wouldn’t buy out Dvorak with 16M$ of cap space. Waivers/minors is a better move, and absorb him in 1 season instead of stretching this over multiple seasons.
