Description

Some might say we have a hole a center but I disagree. If we let Schmaltz make some mistakes and learn from them he can turn into a good play-making center. Shaw will help out the bottom 6 and can always fill in to play the top 6 if necessary. Wilson can help out on the 2 or 3 line left wing and give us some power play minutes as well.

Yeah, because colorado is going to trade him right after acquiring him. Good Job. Also, just because Chicago doesn't have cap space doesnt mean every player you want is going to get salary retained

Well I'm not sure if you watch hockey but Anisimov has much more value than Shaw, so retaining salary is an option. Secondly, Colorado is rebuilding so acquiring a younger forward and a 5th rounder for a player they acquired for a 4th rounder isn't unrealistic.
