So Lindholm really isn't a hit.

He was so mid this year, I think VAN can sign him for a cheap "prove it" deal, maybe 2 years 5 to 6 mil or something like that

I’m not sure if there will be interest from either side for an extension tbh, especially after the rumours we were looking to flip him at the deadline. If he’s only asking for 5-6M for 2 years I would definitely sign him for that though. He’s been pretty good defensively for us it’s just the offense hasn’t clicked for him at all

I know Miller has been so good, and is probably best not to change his role, but if Lindholm would sign for cheap, maybe bump him up to 2C and get Miller on the wing?

That’s something I was hoping they’d do to try and get Lindholm going, although the Suter-Miller-Boeser line has been elite this season (70.8 xGoals%, 2nd best among lines with 100+ minutes). Once Joshua is back I’d like to see a Joshua-Lindholm-Garland line, which should just be a better version of that line with Blueger which performed really well up until Joshua’s injury

I would honestly prefer to keep Kovacevic and let the young guys develop in Laval.
