Goalies simply are not worth that much.

I feel like both sides decline. Sissons and Saros hold too much value to us and Leafs wouldn’t give up Marner. I’d be down giving him an 12 mil x 7 yrs contract if he hits FA.

It's as unlikely as NSH trading Saros++ for an expensive rental RW.

Yes, Saros being a rental didn't escape me. The post I was replying to also made mention of it.

NSH currently has three injuries on the backend, That's why Shenn's been on Josi's pair, the last two games. There's no way he's slotted there at the start of a new season, when everyone's presumably healthy. He can't handle those minutes, and Josi has better chemistry with Fabbro or McDonagh.
