I definitely see what you're saying but in a scenario where the Sens trade away Chychrun and Brannstrom, Middleton would be perfect for the LD3 spot.

If Kleven is sitting another year then there is better ways to get a 3rd pairing LD without giving up a high 2nd round pick.

Agreed, I'd want Middleton but not for that price.
