Blues accept this. Alexandrov can be good but Blues don't have a great spot to develop him.

Maybe a little rich

But imo the 3rd is for Alex, the rest is for Saad and paying for taking Accari and Eller

The pens decline this. If there is a cap dump in this trade, it’s Saad, definitely not Eller and not really Acciari either.

Lol you even said earlier you don’t know if the pens accept but the blues definitely accept. The pens absolutely don’t accept. Eller has what 10-11 pts less than Saad and 1 less game for almost half the cap hit and less years. Why would the pens want to make that swap and then pay a lot more on top of it? Lol Eller is far from a cap dump and likely could get a 2nd round pick in return if the pens wanted to make room for young guys like Poulin, Ponomarev, and Yager.

exactly. Eller is overperforming his contract and 2m for Accaris shotblocks and Pk is reasonable. Saad is a problem contract for the next 2 years.
PIT declines Eller+Accari for Saad straight up let alone with the picks attached lmao

No. Brutal. Another Blues fan attempting to shovel Saad away to PIT. Nope. Not to mention that what you have going to STL is the most delusional, lopsided return I’ve seen on this website in quite sometime. Yikes.

Correct I did, glad you can read. However that is not what I was referring to is it? Thinking saad is a cap dump when her a guaranteed 25 goals 50ish point player is insane. One who also plays very good defence mind you

I never said Saad WAS a cap dump. I said IF THERE WAS a cap dump in this trade that it would be Saad. That doesn’t mean he actually is one though. And a guy who has only hit 25 goals once in 8 years and twice in his career is hardly a guaranteed 25 goal/50ish point guy

Sorry 20 goals! But my bad I misinterpreted but I do think the point is moot since Saad is the best player in the deal

Not by much, so the point stands that the pens probably wouldn’t trade Eller for Saad straight up due to cap hits, much less add everything else you have in here.
