Description

This is a simulated result of what trades/signings were made in our GHL GM League for a simulated off-season.

GM's were tasked with the job of getting their team ready for the season. They had to stay within the salary cap restrictions and must have a maximum of 6 players on the Taxi Squad for injury relief purposes.

Your job is to comment and evaluate how the GM managed their team.

Questions to answer:
1. What was the best move made by the GM?
2. What was the worst move made by the GM?
3. Did the GM improve the team or make them worse?

1 - Umm I guess getting Reinhart pretty cheap, even if he's not what we need to splurge on. There's not too much to enjoy.

2 - The Buch trade. AWFUL.

3 - Ehh not really, though they might have a marginally better record just from the PP not having a biblical drought to start the season.

Oh wow this team might beat the sharks and get 3 more points than it did this year!

Any acgm that doesn’t have the blues defence fixed isn’t good imo

Thanks for playing! Yeah the blues GM added lots at offence but struggled on defence. He tried quite a few deals to get a dman but nothing panned out.

Thats fair! I did one trying to get a Dman and it just wasn’t working

Gave up and just waived both and they got claimed! Really allowed me to utilize the cap better

Yeah I can't remember who it was he was targeting. There was a big blockbuster but can't remember it. He tried to sign UFA's Zadorov or Tanev. Nothing worked. Then I think he was in on T.J Brodie but nothing really important.
