Description
I was not given the option to shoot Petry and/or Holl out of a cannon so bought them out instead of trading futures to get rid of either of them.

How's the cost for Karlsson? They'll have to do something since VGK will want to sign Hanifan/March. I added a 2nd to an earlier trade idea I had done for him for the retention.

Two RD signings of hometown boys, hoping for a little home cookin on the price. Not sure about Chatfield's value but fit this under the cap.

Made the two trades w/ SJS, could be anyone looking for depth scoring and D. Assumed Fabbri has min value (traded up ~10 spots) and Maata has positive value as a solid D for one year.

G still very much a question mark, but Husso/Lyon as a tandem (IF healthy) should be ok. Big IF on Husso's health though, but untradeable right now.

Elmer and AJ on the bench to be rotated in for experience.

Will be shocked if Raymond gets anything under $6mil AAV even at 3yrs and wings will do their best to get him at 8yrs

Especially for 3 years. Can’t see them moving Karlsson anyways

What do you think VGK will do this offseason? I can't see them not trying to re-sign at least Hanifan and they're going to have serious cap issues.

VGK probably end up moving a defenseman. They have a lot of quality Dmen, so one of Theodore, Mcnabb, Hague or Whitecloud would be my thought. Theodore makes the most and would be my guess at who they look to move because he only has 1 year left on his deal.

Maybe the Wings could trade for Whitecloud for a RD3 instead of signing someone like I did in this ACGM. Then no Karlsson trade and instead we sign or trade for a different top 6 F. Guentzel would look good but I don't think we can afford him.
