It's a bit of a gamble on Montour given he's had a down year, but if he can stay healthy, he could be a great top pair RD. Not sure if he wants to leave Florida however. Maybe he takes a bit of a hometown discount?

I think Montour would stay in Florida at that price. Maybe the Lightning could be interested in him at that price. Overall this would probably be a hard lineup to afford.

* Side note is Samsonov still expected to be over Woll next season?

Said non-contender just beat said contender... Leafs are 4 points behind with 2 games in hand.

I think Woll takes over text season, but could see the Leafs doing a short-term deal with Samsonov if the price is right. He may just have priced him out of Toronto, however. They may need to look at Driedger, Stolarz, Rittich...

In a single regular season game? Look out boys they're a-comin

The Leafs haven't been a threat to make it out of the second round in decades and the Panthers have won the President's Trophy and made the Cup finals in the last two years.

Montour down season? He has had one good season that doubled his 2nd best offensively, not a guy l would sign. Do you know the leafs have Hildeby a year away from the show? They shouldn't sign any backup to Woll for more than 1 year.

A team that is cap strapped that can have an ELC goalie over someone making 3.5M isn't a tough choice imo.
