Monahan will be looking for both money & terms, this is definitely not it. MTL won’t give him a long terms contract, and Kent Hughes didn’t talk like a guy he would bring back this offseason.

Crosby is 36 has one year left on his contract and you think he is worth more than a n#5 overall pick with Hutson and Suzuki ? 1 on 1 Suzuki is more valuable than Crosby because of age and contract. Removing Suzuki from that bundle and I think it could make sense.

Love Crosby anyone would love to have a super talent on their team. BUT Montreal is rebuilding and will probably seek young high end talent if they are so lucky. Sid the kid deserves all the props hopefully he retires a penguin. I think he's got a couple more years in him as his body has aged well.
