Levi hopefully wins a championship in the A and be in the NHL next year.

There's really no reason to spend money in free agency. Seems as though the trade route will be better for the Sabres.

As far as 3C goes….
I think Krebs gets first shot at it. He’s been up here playing our defensive center role, but now that Mitts has been traded it opens up a hole for him to show off his offensive skills a bit more.
Obviously, we’d have to bring in a replacement for that defensive center spot though. If we don’t do this, then Krebs goes back to that role & Kulich likely gets first shot at 3C
He’s had 2 really good years in Rochester, so it makes sense to give him a chance over Savoie.

And the good thing is that all these guys can play the wing too, so we have some nice versatility there to swap guys around a bit.


In goal, Levi could be the 1b to UPL, or if we bring in a Vet for that role then we can let Levi be the unquestioned #1 in the AHL & let him develop without rushing him.
Tough to say which way we go though- I’d guess it’s 50/50


DeMelo & Hakanpaa are 2 guys i think fans would like a lot here, bc they’d bring added toughness that we lack
BUT
Unless we get rid of Clifton, we probably only have room for 1 of them

Roy could also be a target for a top4 RD in UFA
