Description

Brad decides to spend the majority of FA money on two positions. Getting Lindholm at 2C so Tavares can move to the wing and Roy at 1RD to partner Reilly. Domi resigns long term and can play 3C or shuffle around and Talbot is brought in for 1 year in a tandem with Woll until Hildeby is ready.

Then Brad works his magic persuading Edmundson and Boosh to sign for a major discount on the premise of a shot at a cup and the promise of more money the following year when the Tavares contract ends. If that's not possible then you'd be looking to get other third pair D for around that cap hit.

Lily & Robertson are traded away which is a shame but necessary to make the cap work. We'd still get value back for them and overall I think this line-up is pretty strong and should put us in the genuine contender bracket.

I don't think Lindholm will come in that cheap, if he would i think he would stay in Vancouver, I could see Vancouver being interested in Liljegren but not at that price, No real interest in Robertson or Gregor either.
