Description
With a better SV% from our goalies, we’d likely be in a playoff spot right now. Get rid of both of them and roll back the core group for a run at the 24-25 playoffs. If they miss again then blow the core up. Priorities - coaching, goalies, RHD, vets in bottom 9. Also move Norris to the wing.

I know that will likely happen. But I like the depth in the ACGM d group and it insulates us for inevitable injuries.

Korpi will be better next season, so I don't think they'll buy him out. If he still sucks next season, then buy him out. Forsberg for sure must go tho.

The Flames have no interest in Brannstrom, Chychrun is the one they'd be interested if he's willing to extend in Calgary.

Why wouldn’t they? Small price to pay for a legit bottom pairing guy. I couldn’t see Chychrun singing long term anywhere in Canada to be honest. If not in Ottawa because of the family connection, then I see him heading somewhere warm - maybe Tampa or Florida - on a long term contract.

He can’t be worse. The worst goalie by a mile statistically in the NHL this season. Even Vanecek had better metrics.
