Then the Ducks keep Zegras until the point his trade value drops and they must take a lower trade value, because NO team is meeting the Duck fans or Verbeek's asking price.

It'll be just like Debrincat trade all over again. Have a high asking price and watch the trade value drop until the team trading him just gives up and takes the lower value than they could have gotten a year earlier.

Dude, how clueless are you, Debrincats trade to Detroit wasn't a bad return because Ottawa asking price was too high, it's because he handcuffed the team giving them only a few locations he was willing to sign.

Or are you confusing it with Chychrun, who asked for a trade out of Arizona? Again, not applicable to Zegras.

Zero comparison between DeBrincat and Zegras, DeBrincat wanted to come home to Detroit long term. Zegras is an American with no ties to Montreal other than being a good friend with Cole caufield.

This comparison doesn't work. Ottawa had to trade DeBrincat and he only wanted to go to Detroit.

He is talking about the DeBrincat trade to OTT from Chicago.....

And if you think Montreal is a bad city, it's likely one of the best cities in North America and you likely never went there. Also, ask Zegras about how he loved his Formula One week-end last summer in Montreal.
