I really like Logan O'Connor but 5.3x7 is insane. That would most likely be a horrible overpay of a contract

Tbh just wanted to spend some money, definitely not that much in real life. We have lots of cap space with this so that’s awesome.

he's a solid depth player. maybe not 5.3m but maybe closer to 3-4 and around 4 years?

Th Lightning can't afford to pay depth pieces that much with the top talent they have. Paul is the only one making over 3M and he is a 20 goal scorer. I actually love O'Connor and would love to have him on his contract but for an extension I wouldn't give him more then 2.5M, which probably would not be enough.
