Blues 2025 my take

Description
With the emergence of Jake Neighbours I don't think this team is too far off from the playoffs. That being said, this is another gap year to hopefully help on the development side. It seems almost impossible to move someone like Krug until next offseason, when the full NTC ends. I created the 2nd line with the idea of improving the forecheck. Lundell and Schenn will platoon and swap between 2C and 3C until Dvorsky is ready (could be a while), or another solution is provided.

Big pass . He will probably made 30 goals on a cheap contract and you offer 3 “bad” prospects and 2 second rounder

What if you add say stenberg and the 2024 2nd becomes a 1st? Maybe another B+ prospect?

We want something for win next year. If we can find something with Parayko in the deal we talk for sure.

Sorry that doesn't mean that they're just giving him away for pretty much nothing. Zito will keep Lundell over Montour or Reinhart. Zito would probably need to move Sam Bennett then

But they’re taking on about what his salary would be in Hayes so what’s the point. It’s gonna cost a lot to get him from Florida. They can afford him.

I'm sure Staios isn't trying to rebuild so it'd have to be a hockey trade 1 for 1 likely which makes it tricky. Anyone we'd want you guys won't want to move, and anyone you guys want to give us won't be enough. We're probably aiming to make a playoff push next season so Buch, Parayko, Kyrou is who'd we'd target and obviously have to add extras onto Batherson. Which again makes it tricky because I can't see STL moving any of those guys to us so Idk how a trade would get done between us.

what possible reason does OTT have t trade Batherson, their ONLY under 36 top 6 RW that is also a 60-70 point player making less than 5M? Parayko sucks, Chabot is better than him defensively and offensively no thanks. Kyrou makes more than twice as much for only a difference in a few points, no thanks and Buch is a LW.

Cmon man... Parayko brings size we're desperate for, plays on the right side and he has definitely not sucked this season. Chabot would have his permanent RD partner which he hasn't had since Demelo. Kyrou would be a consistent 30-35 goal scorer beside Timmy and Brady, but you are right I don't think he's that much better than Bath to warrant a 3M$ salary increase. Buch however can play anywhere on the line, brings size we really need and overall is an elite player. I would love Buch the most if I had to choose.

Paraykos defensive metrics this year and last years are WORST than Chabots, stop living in the past
