That’s horrendously bad for Ottawa. At least put one of your 5 best players in the deal bro

Anaheim isn’t retaining nearly 50% on Gibson and Gibson has already publicly said no to Toronto anyways

No shot we are winning the lottery and McTavish is not a winger

That's one of the worst trade proposals I've ever seen.

If you want Tkachuk you'll have to start with Cutter Gauthier or your first round pick this year.

Not even close or Brady Tkachuk.

And John Gibson doesn't waive for Toronto. And Lily and a late 1st isn't getting $9,000,000 retained either.

Gibson isn't worth that. He hasn't put up a league average save % for 5 straight seasons now all while putting up worse metrics across the board than the backups playing behind him on the Ducks.. A Gibson trade at this point would closely resemble the Murray trade from Ottawa.

He did, for those that watch the Ducks Z has been our most effective player. The team is night and day when he's in the line up vs out.

I'd trade our first easily for Brady if it wasn't 1st oa. I'd prefer to keep Z anyway.

If it's not first overall you'll have to add a lot to make it worthwhile.

Sure, and it likely is worth it depending on the adds. But I'd keep Celebrini with 8 years if crontrol(more likely 11 years) over Brady.

Z is better than all of those players right now. Carlsson is about the only player to project higher.

Not quite sure how that is wild or funny. Zegras has produced more in his first few years than any of the others. Terry didn't really break out until 24+ and Z started having similar production at 21. Carlsson easily projects as a corner stone piece but Z has potential as a PPG 1st liner. McTavish has potential but the offensive upside isn't as high and frankly his defensive game and penalties aren't any better than Z at the moment. Zell and Minty had good seasons but they're stills a ways away from being real difference makers. It was quite clear that Z stirs the drink the is the Ducks this now.
I can only assume as a Mtl fan you've believed the nonsense the media spat out for clicks that Z is available and is somehow not a player verbeek wants. That he's the next Drouin or some nonsense. He's not, nor is he in danger of it. He's done everything management has asked of him and both verbeek and Cronin were quite complimentary of him at the end if the year.

Wow, you really support your claim. You know you’re talking about the worst forward defensively in the entire nhl lol. He didn’t even score at a .5 ppg this year. He doesn’t have PPG potential (at least not safe PPG potential), he won’t score more than 70, and for a forward this bad defensively, that’s quite bad lol. I would take the second OA pick in the last draft, the third OA pick three years ago, a 70 pts scorer good defensively and the second best prospect in hockey WAY before a 70 pts offensive only forward.

Your assumptions are quite false, I don’t think Verbeek has the guts to sacrifice jersey selling for a better team. I don’t want him on Montreal, as he would cost a superstar price when he is a second liner with no defensive skills whatsoever.

I can only assume that since you’re a Ducks fan, you believe you’re always right and you know everything that happens in the team. You probably see in the media how good Zegras is and not stop one second at his defensive play and his mid season.

There is so much inaccurate information here. And it explains all I need to know about your opinion. If you don't want to watch the player that's fine.
