What makes you think thats the direction they want to go?

Throughout the season, the one team Jacques used as a point of comparison for what he wants this team to be more than any other was the Panthers. Assuming that mindset is reflected by the rest of the front office (not a huge leap given the career Staios had), building the team in that image would be building a Brady Tkachuk team. Given Staios' talk about building a culture and an identity, I think it's a reasonable assumption to make tbh.

I'll add the caveat that I absolutely don't seriously think they're gonna overturn half of the roster this summer. It's just that I think these are the guys I confidently fit a team building in that framework.
