Toffoli is 32 next season and you want 5 years?

Jake is 30 thank god he can't be signed to 8 years....

This team needs a new direction. Not to keep getting older

I'm pretty sure that you can't sign a UFA to an 8-year term, as @LuckyMoneyPuck intimates.

Somebody might give you a third-round draft pick for Reilly Smith, but it won't be Anaheim -- the Ducks aren't into rentals, particularly if they're not RhDs, and particularly if they're expensive moneywise.

I would be shocked if someone gave the Pens a second for Rickard Rakell.

Sorry but given Rakell’s age and contract the best the Penguins are going to be able to do is giving him away for free. They may have to attach assets to move him or take a bad contract back.

laugh When you traded Jake Guentzel you gave up the right for the 8th year, And besides he'll stay in Carolina

And Dumba isn't signing for $2,000,000 Some lame GM will overpay him more than that.

Of course the Sharks would love to give assets for a 30+ year old with term after their entire plan as an org the last 2 years has been to get rid of as many of those as possible. Sharks wouldn't even take Rakell for free let alone 42nd overall.

He will go to Colorado and play with his buddy MacKinnon and NOT ask to be the Captain like a certain ex Oiler and Ranger did in Vancouver

I'd be fine with that. But there's absolutely nothing suggesting that is going to happen. And everything suggesting he's going to extend and retire in Pittsburgh.

I think the only way he leaves the Penguins is if he sees things are not going the way he wants to end his career
