Flyers goal is to get better long term and get out of bad contracts not add them lol

My logic here is that Barron and the picks are nice pieces to help them and Anderson was great under Torts so he could be an interesting reclamation project that won't really cause them cap issues.

A reclamation project is a 24-25 year old who has stumbled after showing flashes not an overpaid 29 year old who has been bad to terrible for 5 years that’s called a cap dump lol. The picks will probably be mid 3rd round and Barron isn’t much. There’s no need to take up cap space on a player that is near useless when Michkov gets here. Flyers are much better off just letting our cap dump contracts end next year and start to look towards free agency

Yeah quite sure Flyers, if interested, can acquire Barron alone with some pick or try their luck with waivers. Most of those bad contracts (Petersen, Johansen, Atkinson) are not causing any problems right now, and will all expire after next season.
