I was thinking, maybe Zadorov contract for Lily, he signed a bridge deal, than another short deal to gain his UFA.

So... $3.2 for 2 years >?

Everyone has forgotten Woll's second half of the season? > he ain't the solution.
Well the Leafs can't sign Patrick Roy now that he's coaching, so who else is available>? C. Talbot

Maybe if the Leafs had a good head coach that would be different.

Woll hot and Sammy cold to start the season.
Sammy hot and Woll cold to end the season.

Last week of the season all Leaf goalies are cold.

Fire Keefe the day after the 1st playoff Round exit.

Sammy has allowed 4 goals or more 5 of his last 9 games. Woll has had some bad moments as well, but he's also been hung out to dry a lot since he's got back.

So we make excuses for Woll saying he's been hung out but all goals Sammy has faced are his fault and in no way was he hung to dry here and there?

Cant make excuses for one when the other has had similar situations. Both at times have been left out to dry by the team at various points.

And Woll's also let in 4 or more in his last 9 two of those being against their first round opponent in BOS

While I will say 4.5m is to much him coming back at 2.5-3m is not a concern

Again this crusade against Sammy and over praise of Woll is silly.

Woll can apparently do no wrong even if he struggles in a game but Sammy allows 4 its a travesty lul

Like both have not been great especially Woll since coming back but it seems we get the Gordon Ramsey meme in one persons eyes

gordon-ramsay-kids-vs-adults.jpg

Wolls hopefully got a bright future but he aint it rn

But in other news Sammy probs will be 2 years 3m if he comes back

And then when u factor whose their opponent R1 and how in each game against Woll allowed 4 vs said opponent answers pretty clear

Sammy's first half of this season and playoff performance and entire career with Washington is enough to judge him. He's not a number 1

A. Hill's career numbers was enough to judge him as not being a true #1 Nhl goalie... yet there he was last year, playoff hero, sipping from the Stanley Cup.

Hill didn't get 4+ million until after winning a cup. Not being so bad that he passed through waivers in a contract year. I can't believe I am even having this conversation.

I guess you failed to look at the other goalies who hit UFA this summer. I wasn't joking when I said after Sammy who's better, when C. Talbot is the best goalie option, you know Sammy may even get a $5 million deal. It worked out like that for Kuemper.

And we know the Leafs don't have the trade bait to get a better goalie.

Who's better than Sammy? Anyone who doesn't cost 4+ million. Who on earth is going to give that much and term to a guy who's currently 3 months removed from looking like his career was over. Hell Murray at league minimum is a better idea.

I'm going have to end the conversation here, it's obvious your blind hatred of Sammy has turned you to the dark side.

You do know other than his slow start and bad end to the season he was among the league leaders of all NHL goalies between mid Jan - early April.

Have a good night, Darth RipNasty. Look out for people with higher ground than you.

And force lightning.

Who cares about small stretches. He's a guy who has all the tools to be great but just doesn't have the mental fortitude to do it consistently and this has been Sammy his whole career. In Washington he was great sometimes and then would allow some bad goals and go into long slumps. He still allows bad goals and goes into slumps. This season was another example and he hasn't looked great recently.
