This is not the best lineup. The line of Bertuzzi-Matthews-Domi has shown it’s more of a playoff style line. Can’t see that line being broken up for any reason right now.

Your second line of Robertson-Tavares-Nylander will get caved in defensively. I doubt Robertson even starts game 1.

Domi is not a 3C. He’s a middle 6 winger at his best. Putting him in a position to fail is just asking to be fired.

You’ve gotta spoilt the big 3 up and have them run their own lines:
Bertuzzi-Matthews-Domi
Knies-Tavares-Marner
Jarnkrok-Holmberg-Nylander
Dewar-Kampf-Reaves

.. is the right lineup and pending injuries I’d bet it’s how they start game 1.

The defence.. who knows. I’m not even gonna debate on that because it’s been so bad with whatever combination you use. But the one staple has been Benoit-McCabe so I’d bet that pair starts. Although personally my leash with Benoit would be short but he still plays a playoff style game

Not to mention TJ Brodie is not starting game 1 if everyone is healthy!!
