You missed the point entirely, likely on purpose. Look we both know how this is going to go. You are here exclusively to chirp leaf fans. You will say the stars are overrated and overpaid no matter what rational information is presented. You and your type do this because all you want to do is fight leaf fans. It's a sad waste of time.

t's clearly you who won't accept ration arguments when they're pointed out. I'd still love to hear how Mathews at the was an RFA at the time worth 2.14 million more than a pending UFA in Kucherov?

No he really isn't and at the time of signing he certainly wasn't. How many 100 points seasons does Mathews have ? How many 30 points playoffs does Mathews have ? How many rings does Mathews have? Kucherov only one if 2:wingers in NHL history with 3 or more 75 assist seasons joining Guy Lafluer, one of three guys with a 40 goal 100 assist season joining the The Great One ,and Super Mario. Mathews is a better goal scorer it stops there.

Point to what you like him all your want but everyone that isn't a Tampa homer takes Matthews over Kucherov every time. He younger, way better defensively and the best goal scorer in the game. Centres get more than wingers. End of debate

Put down the crack pipe way better defensively. Again he was an RFA when signed not an UFA WHO GET MORE MONEY! Greedy ;doesn't really care about rings and that's fine but be honest about it. We all do our jobs to get paid but honestly admit that's his biggest motivation max dollars he can get. Actions speak much louder than words do.

They don't sniff the playoffs without them so yeah they did help a lot. Those 69 goals are going to do as much good for Toronto, and they'll keep extending NHLs historical length CUP drought.

Talk to me tomorrow when it is. Boston completely tanked because they wanted no part of TB. Watch those games they did everything to lose short of purposely scoring own goals.

Rielly rarely makes a bad pinch. It's the other plugs, Edmunson was the reason there was a 2 on 1 for the first goal. He had no business pinching at that moment. Benoit gets caught pinching, same with Brodie, Gio, McCabe at times. Liljegren every once and a while but it's just how they are coached. It's a system thing, pinch all the time keep the puck in the zone. It doesn't work in the playoffs Keefe. Schenn did well last year because he never pinched unless it was a for sure thing.

The Leafs defence has been pretty good. Dont know what you've been watching. It is the Leafs special teams and goaltending that HAVE KILLED THEM with a lack of timely scoring from their top guys.

Boston has been vanilla and looked slow.
5on5 Toronto is crushing Boston right now while Edmundson has been fantastic. I swear most of the people that say Edmundson hasnt been good either arent watching the games or dont understand what they are watching! That pass to Nylander for the break away last night though 3 zones was a beauty!

He has his moments and has been better than others but the lack of any sort of offensive ability is a problem for TO's defence. We get hemmed in too much and it's hard to get anything going through the neutral zone because the defence just doesn't move the puck well. Boston is keying in on Rielly hard because without him no one is very good anything beyond dumping the puck in from center. Benoit has been the hardest to watch in the ozone. Then Lybushkin. Edmunson has had a couple of moments and overall i have liked his play. But if this team had one or two guys that could also create something that would be so so good.

Florida is a good team. Should be a hard fought series.

I honestly don't think Florida sees an elimination game.
