    Idk if it’s worth a 4th round pick just to avoid LTIRing Poolman. I think Canucks probably pass on this one

    Matt Roy gets more money a lot more money, Besides he's not wasting his time on the worst team in the NHL on a massive rebuild.

    I read an article saying that apparently they've been trying to move his contract. But yeah I agree with you.

    If he wants/is valued at more money than that then I think SJS would pay it. Just seems like a good fit. Overpay for a guy who gets to live in the same state as he did before and will get a ton of playing time. But yeah it really does depend on how much he values winning.

    No doubt they would prefer not to have it, but I think if they were willing to attach a 4th round pick to do it, he would be traded already
