PIT declines. We don’t want Sheary. He would only take minutes away from younger guys that deserve them. The team needs an influx of youth, not Sheary.

Also, the cap crunched TBL are not the team for Goodrow.

Could send him anywhere that needs cheap depth. TB is only taking an additional $1.6M here to boost their B6 for a player they want to move and mid rounder. Could work but trying to see what works for all sides.

Goodrow’s cap hit and his skill do not equate. He isn’t a $3.6+ million player at this point. Not that I dislike him, he relatively steps it up in the playoffs, but it’s just true. Teams won’t be trading a 3rd for him, even if $2 million in cap is coming back to NYR. You’ll be lucky to have someone take him for future considerations. That $1.6 million difference is two roster spots for TBL.

Yeah I agree. Just hoping the nostalgia clouds their judgement at this point lol. Either way NYR could afford to hold onto him for another year unless their is a clean move out there that doesn't include incentivizing a dump.

That isn’t 2016 Sheary, it’s 2024 Sheary. PIT respectfully declines.

So let me see if I get the garbage your selling you want TB to bail you out of 1.6 million in cap space and pay a third for that privilege. Are you high? I mean Snoop Dogg, Willie Nelson high

TB buys Sheary out for $583,333, keeps their 3rd, waits for you to buy out jeep, and signs him for about $1,000,000.

Good luck to him then not a chance TB pays him that and gives up a third to do so. They gave him away for a 7 for a reason. They knew reasonably what his contract demands and didn't have the cap nor do they now if he were at 1.5 or less TB would be interested.
