Ridiculous for the Leafs to give up anything for 5.8m Pelech and his never ending contract. Tell us why does Marner waive to Calgary.

Enlighten us with more than a half-sentence, please. Seems like defense and goaltending, with term, which Treliving will need to sign anyway, would be a plus compared to more of the regular season Marner Magic.

As per our mutual friend hal, Marner waiving would be the biggest question mark.

Isles decline...a bottom 1st rounder and scraps....we will keep Pelech or move him in a package for a good scorer.
