The Isles trade makes some logical sense, but depending on how the rest of the playoffs shake out, that may not be enough for the Isles to make the swap. Based on the regular season standings, Isles are at 18, Florida at 30. That 12 spot jump is worth an early 2024 second rounder. If Florida gets bounced earlier than expected, maybe the trade works as-is.

I looked at this with the Islanders will able to add someone like Cole Beaudoin or Luke Misa. I think logical when it comes to offers and Islanders just seem like better trade partners to move up.

Flyers could also take on salary if Islander are making a push now.

Like the idea with the Islanders trade, but would be pretty disappointed with taking Boisvert at that spot. Would do it in a heartbeat for one of Hage or Chernyshov though
