Dubas says he'll give him seven years and $7m/yr. The length doesn't matter because the team will suck during the long rebuild any way. And if Sullivan can't get the PP to work with Stamkos then he should be sent to the sun.

A point per game guy deserve more than 7.8
This is a fair offer but if you want him you need to give a bit more than that because many team will make the same offer

I'm ready to give him 8.5 / 9 millions by years (3 or 4)

I'd prefer Stamkos in Boston over Elias Lindholm...

Stamkos - Zacha - Pasta would be a pretty filthy line

Don't forget that he already makes his money (100M in career gain right now....), that's a huge factor to take in consideration, unlike a player like Marchessault who worked hard to be in the league (and wants to cash-in for his next contract).

Also, I don't belive that teams will gonna paid him at 8-9M because of that. Just take a look at the old Pavelski's contract with Dallas, 7M per year for 3 seasons.

I don't see Stamkos as a good fit with the Bruins.

My top 3 are Montreal (St-Louis and Lecavalier), Detroit (Yzerman and Lalonde) and Anaheim (Verbeek and Killorn).

Why don't you see Stammer as a fit in Boston? Outside of personal connections... Boston is a vet team ready to win now and he could be the piece to put them over the edge. Detroit is the only team there that could potentially contend with him. Anaheim and MTL won't be competitive while he is there.

Personal connections are always a MASSIVE advantage in this type of situation.

Gretzky and Kurri to NYR because of Messier, Bourque to Colorade because of Roy and Pierre Lacroix, Kane to NYR because of Panarin and Detroit because of DeBrincat......

I don't said it's impossible, but I really don't see Boston doing that....
