This deal is bad for Hawks. Toronto should take this. It helps restock their pipeline and they get 8 years younger. Meanwhile Hawks get a huge piece that doesn’t move the needle. Sum of the parts > one piece

no more stupid than thinking you will land matthews after a record goal scoring year for an unproven 18 year old and some minor pieces. Leafs most likely make a change this offseason but its not going involve moving Mathews.
