Description

This obviously cant happen because of the NMC on marner and taveres. The cap is based on projections for next year.

But trading a name to utah and a but load of picks to sell jerseys and get more hype around the draft i feel like would be big. Moving marner for a RD to pair with Reilly and other assets would most likely be the move. I picked weegar since i liked him the most even though CGY prob wont trade with toronto.

Giving up Cowan (taken first last year) and a 1st, plus kampf and a 3rd for his cap most likely wont be enough.

Then you have to get guentzel and chandler.

This most likely impossible but its interesting to see how you can bolster when you minus two 10 mil contracts.

It does leave the farm empty and no picks in the near future, but you got to go for it when you have matthews at the peak of his power.
