This is team #4 (working backwords and check my page for more). Canucks are interesting because they have a lot of UFAS and money to work with to keep being a contender. I personally think they make a HUGE swing in free agency. Let me know your thoughts!

I think the canucks take a huge swing at Savard here, he would fit their defence perfectly and Evans would be a solid 4th line center. I know some habs fans wont like it but they have a lot of NHL ready defenders that need spots to play and I think this package is a pretty good return

Zero reason for the Canucks to trade a 1st there. Evans is a decent 4th liner but not worth much more than a mid round pick, probably a 3rd. Savard is a bad bottom pair dman. Would rather sign Tanev for more, re-sign Myers for similar money, or play Juulsen than bring him in

brutal trade for vancouver but i guess fine otherwise. would be extremely lame to not re-sign joshua, imo

I don't think Savard will net a 1st round pick. 2nd round pick max. Realistically I wouldn't pay more than a 3rd and fringe prospect.

not sure if youd have enough money even without resigning laff with all the other moves to resign him. think some teams will put a high bid on him hes shown flashes

hes getting up there but i think hes worth it, stanley cup champ and was pretty solid on a terrible montreal team i think thats why hes overlooked but fair enough

replace savard, evans, and lafferty with Aman, Wolanin, and Joshua (3.5 million aav) and you save 2 million in cap. plus you dont lose any picks. would be a considerably better offseason to simply keep existing guys instead of overpaying for savard and evans

i think the difference between having savard + evans over wolann and aman is better to have lafferty over joshua

fair enough! you watch the team more then I do (im a leafs fan thats doing every team) so i cant say youre wrong. just different opinions
